RELIGIONS AND CULTURES
PEACE BETWEEN NATIONS AND RELIGIONS
“There can be no peace among nations without peace between religions” is the slogan with which Hans Küng made the Global Ethic Project known. Accordingly, religions with their spiritual and ethical resources, as well as their representatives, were the first addressees of this project from the very start.
Interreligious dialogue, as well as an exchange of, and with, people from a wide variety of worldviews and cultures is a central task of the Global Ethic Foundation.

INTERRELIGIOUS DIALOGUE ON A MUNICIPAL LEVEL
GETTING LOCAL COUNCILS OF RELIGIONS OFF THE GROUND
The aim of the project “Getting Local Councils of Religions off the ground,” which is unique in Germany, was to establish dialogue between religions in the municipalities and cities in Baden-Württemberg. This is what promoting integration, as well as prosperous coexistence and, ultimately, “peace” means.
Here we relate how the project came into existence and how effective interreligious dialogue has, in the meantime, become.
