We need common ground in order to shape a better world. We need values, norms and attitudes we can agree upon. This is the only way we can communicate with one another and transform the world. The good news is that these values already exist.

DOING BUSINESS IN A SUSTAINABLE FASHION

VALUE ORIENTATION AND TRUST

In a globalised world, there is a focus on identity and encounter learning as well as on ethical language and action skills. As part of Hans Küng’s “Global Ethic Project,” the institute addresses the following question in different ways: Under what conditions can we survive together in cultural, ideological and religious diversity on a habitable planet and at the same time shape our individual and social life humanely?

For this purpose, learning programs are offered to students and people in companies and organizations. Examples are the Global Ethic Ambassador Program for executives or the Social Innovation Program of our World Citizen School for Young Leaders as well as initiatives by student.

Through research, teaching and practical transfer, the institute team is committed to a culture of sustainable business for the world as it is today, the environment as well as posterity.

The director of the institute is the theologian and entrepreneur Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. h.c. Ulrich Hemel.
