VALUE CREATION AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
A Global Ethic School receives professional and financial support from the Global Ethic Foundation, in addition to content-related impulses in the areas of “Interreligious Education” and “Values and Democracy Education.” At the same time, when taking the step to become a Global Ethic School an important process it initiated within the school. he award is a “seal of approval,” which gives the school a distinct profile and generates an interest in the school. Moreover, Global Ethic Schools are part of a network: they benefit from the mutual exchange of experience.


INDIVIDUAL IMPLEMENTATION
OF THE GLOBAL ETHIC VALUES
The Global Ethic Foundation guides schools towards a value-oriented school culture. Each school discovers its own way: Within the framework of the criteria, there is a wide range of designs for the respective school culture. This diversity enriches the common network in which Global Ethic schools learn with, and from, one another.
REQUIREMENTS
GLOBAL ETHIC AT SCHOOL: ACTIVITIES IN EVERYDAY SCHOOL LIFE
Global Ethic Schools integrate the Global Ethic idea into their mission statement and focus on interreligious as well as social learning. They commit to regularly offering Global Ethic-related activities in everyday school life, such as encounter learning, excursions to interreligious places of learning and much more. The schools supplement their regular teaching topics and projects with Global Ethic aspects.

IMPRESSIONS FROM GLOBAL ETHIC SCHOOLS
DIGITAL GLOBAL ETHIC MEETING WITH “ACTIVE4FUTURE”
In October 2021, the first digital network meeting for students at Global Ethic Schools took place. The Topic was: “What can ecological responsibility look like in Global Ethic Schools?” Thirty-six students from 10 different Global Ethic Schools took part in the online event and exchanged ideas.

EDUCATIONAL DAY ON THE GLOBAL ETHIC
At an elementary school in Tübingen, the Global Ethic Foundation conducted a Educational Day on the topic of "Values Education in Elementary Schools on the Basis of the Global Ethic Idea. The commitment and inventiveness of the teachers and childcare workers motivated them on their way to becoming a Global Ethic school

PEACE DOVE IN THE GLOBAL ETHIC SCHOOL NETWORK
One of 30 bronze cast peace doves by the artist Richard has been flying from school to school in the Global Ethic School Network since 2020. With each landing, a peace project is to be initiated locally. Here it changes hands from the initiator, the Albertville-Realschule Winnenden, to the Elly-Heuss-Knapp Gymnasium in Heilbronn.

GLOBAL ETHIC SCHOOL GARDEN
At the re-certified comprehensive school Niederzier/Merzenich, the school garden, which was designed together with the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium Taucha, a Global Ethic school in Saxony, is impressive: Here, the principles and values of global ethics are illustrated and can be walked through.

SCHOOL VISITS TO THE GLOBAL ETHIC SCHOOLS
The Global Ethic Foundation regularly conducts school visits to evaluate and advise the Global Ethic Schools. Discussions with all groups involved as well as a school tour and project presentations by students are all part of the program.
