WORLDLAB
THE LABORATORY FOR LIVING DEMOCRACY
In the worldlab we strengthen the democratic skills of students attending general and vocational schools in Baden-Württemberg. During the course of the three stages of this workshop, the participants approach one another with respect for individual diversity and work on finding common values through dialogue. This lays the basis for further cooperation on a practical project with which the students contribute to the global sustainability agenda which, furthermore, enables them to live and reflect on values in everyday life.
Im worldlab stärken wir die Demokratiekompetenzen von Schüler*innen an allgemeinbildenden und beruflichen Schulen in Baden-Württemberg. In einer dreistufigen Workshopserie begegnen sich die Teilnehmenden wertschätzend in ihrer Vielfalt und verständigen sich im Dialog auf gemeinsame Werte. Dies ist die Grundlage für die Zusammenarbeit in einem gemeinsamen Praxisprojekt, mit dem die Schüler*innen einen Beitrag zur globalen Nachhaltigkeitsagenda leisten und das sie befähigt, Werte im Alltag zu leben und zu reflektieren.

The worldlab is a cooperation between the Global Ethic Foundation and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Baden-Württemberg. It is funded by the Robert Bosch Stiftung and is part of the impulse programme for social cohesion of the state government of Baden-Württemberg.
