WORLDLAB

THE LABORATORY FOR LIVING DEMOCRACY

In worldlab we strengthen the democratic skills of students attending general and vocational schools in Baden-Württemberg. During the course of the three stages of this workshop, the participants approach one another with respect for individual diversity and work on finding common values through dialogue. This lays the basis for further cooperation on a practical project with which the students contribute to the global sustainability agenda which, furthermore, enables them to live and reflect on values in everyday life.

… we create a framework in which people meet each other in an appreciative way, respecting individual diversity.

… we encourage the exchange of values in the spirit of the global ethic.

… we enable everyone to integrate and reflect on the agreed values for everyday life, in the spirit of democracy in action.
