Natalie Amiri to Deliver the 16th Global Ethic Lecture

The Global Ethic Foundation and the University of Tübingen warmly invite you to attend the 16th Global Ethic Lecture. This year, the keynote will be delivered by German-Iranian journalist and author Natalie Amiri on the topic:

“Threatened Values: Human Rights in a Destabilized World”

Natalie Amiri studied Oriental Studies and Islamic Studies in Bamberg, Tehran, and Damascus. From 2015, she headed the ARD bureau in Tehran, stepping down in 2020 due to security concerns. Amiri has been honored several times, including being named Political Journalist of the Year by medium magazin in both 2022 and 2024. In 2024, she also received the Walter Lübcke Democracy Award.

Everyone is warmly welcome to attend. Admission is free. Please note that seats cannot be reserved in advance.

Tickets will be distributed at the Neue Aula (Geschwister-Scholl-Platz) starting at 5:00 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM. Only one ticket will be issued per person. Capacity is limited.

Attendees are kindly asked to leave coats, jackets, backpacks, and larger bags at the cloakroom in the foyer.

The Global Ethic Lectures

Since 2000, the Global Ethic Foundation, in cooperation with the University of Tübingen, has hosted the Global Ethic Lectures in the university’s Festsaal.
These lectures feature distinguished figures from culture, politics, academia, religion, and public life, offering diverse perspectives on the core themes of global ethics.
